The world economy is suddenly running low on everything – even hot tub materials! Resin, which is a vital material into making our hot tubs remains scarce, even if existent, among many hot tub manufacturers. Other materials such as Wood and Fiberglass are also in short supply, mostly from a combination of pandemic production slowdowns lowering supply whilst demand for new construction and goods remains steady, or in cases like at Coast Spas, skyrocketed. Not only have we had raw material shortages, but shipping delays and shipping container shortages to battle with due to COVID-19 lockdowns. This situation is far from unique to the hot tub industry.
