Our statement-making Recovered Pro Change Robe EVO puts the style in sustainability, with our limited-edition collection made using surplus fabric yet to find a home. Everything from the inner and outer fabrics to the patch panel pockets has been sustainably sourced from 100% recycled fabrics that keep ethical fashion followers in mind. But with the robe’s environmentally-friendly credentials comes the reassurance of Red’s no-compromising standards and robust materials that stand the test of time.
By creating a limited-edition robe will lots of longevity, we can limit our impact on the planet by putting an end to the throwaway culture and providing a product that’s built to last and be easily repaired.
Care
Keeping your robe clean is the best way to preserve its life for many more adventures to come.
We generally recommend spot-washing* your robe unless the level of filth calls for more extreme cleaning measures, or, limiting a full wash to every 3-6 months depending on how often you use it. The EVO boasts a PFC-free DWR waterproof outer which will perform better the less intense cleaning it is subjected too, so as a general rule, only wash it when it’s particularly stinky or filthy.
When you do wash your robe, do so at no more than 30 degrees C on a slow-spin cycle.
After the first 4-5 full washes you’ll need to boost the DWR with a special outdoor kit washing liquid (Grangers or similar). Avoid laundry detergent as much as possible as it is designed to break down grease and oils, and the DWR coating looks similar to these to detergents, so avoid adding this to the wash.
For best results, try washing and drying your robe inside out as the outer layer will dry quickly while the fleece will take longer. If possible, dry flat in the sun, but in wintertime, hanging your robe in a warm spot will speed up drying.
*Spot cleaning your robes: For any grease-based marks spot cleaning with washing up liquid is recommended.

Liner:
- Fur-Style Sherpa Fleece: Softer and warmer than other styles of fleece (such as lambs-wool style, which can be very scratchy).
- Backed: To prevent shedding.
- Deep Pile: For excellent insulation (as air is trapped) and water absorption.
- Exceptionally soft next to skin.
- Hydrophobic: Moisture-Wicking.

Rated 8k waterproof and 3k breathable, the 2-layer EVO outer shell features a waterproof membrane and PFC-free DWR (durable water repellent) coating, ensuring optimum water run-off.
Constructed in fully recycled polyester, this environmentally-friendly material is durable, highly packable and quick-drying – plus it looks and feels great, with a premium matt finish and high warmth-to-weight ratio.
EVO Fleece Lining.
The EVO inner is constructed in super-cosy, moisture-wicking, luxurious 300gsm Sherpa fleece. This deep-pile lining is softer and warmer than typical fleeces, providing exceptional comfort and insulation.
The plush, fur-style texture feels incredibly comfortable next to the skin and wicks moisture away to help you dry off and stay warm after a session.
